Created in 2003 and often called the “Perky,” this trail rolls down the valley of Perkiomen Creek and allows you and your dog some much-needed time in the great outdoors. 2. Fonthill Castle

Take a stroll through history at the Fonthill Castle in Doylestown. This historic site welcomes dogs on leashes for self-guided tours of its expansive grounds. 4. Elmwood Park Zoo Dog Days

Experience something truly unique at the Elmwood Park Zoo during their special Dog Days events. This is the first zoo in the country to offer dog-friendly visits, where you can explore the animal exhibits with your pet by your side. They also have Dog Yappy Hours where you and your pooch can visit after regular zoo hours on select nights for some cold drinks from the Zoo Brew Beer Garden and one free pup whipped cream treat cup. This dog park and beer garden is a great place to grab a drink while your dog plays in a 2,000-square-foot turf area.
