1. Perkiomen Trail
Explore the great outdoors along the Perkiomen Trail, a transformed rail-to-trail that is perfect for a leisurely walk with your dog in the picturesque setting of Harleysville. Created in 2003 and often called the “Perky,” this trail rolls down the valley of Perkiomen Creek and allows you and your dog some much-needed time in the great outdoors. 2. Fonthill Castle
Take a stroll through history at the Fonthill Castle in Doylestown. This historic site welcomes dogs on leashes for self-guided tours of its expansive grounds. 3. Wissahickon Valley Park
For the more adventurous pups and their owners, Wissahickon Valley Park offers over 50 miles of trails, including the popular Forbidden Drive Trail. 4. Elmwood Park Zoo Dog Days
Experience something truly unique at the Elmwood Park Zoo during their special Dog Days events. This is the first zoo in the country to offer dog-friendly visits, where you can explore the animal exhibits with your pet by your side. They also have Dog Yappy Hours where you and your pooch can visit after regular zoo hours on select nights for some cold drinks from the Zoo Brew Beer Garden and one free pup whipped cream treat cup. 5. Montgomery Township Bark Park
Montgomery Township Bark Park is a perfect spot for dogs to socialize and play.
